The Meadowood project is proposed for a 389.5-acre site east of Interstate 15 and north of State Route 76 in north San Diego County. More than 40 percent of the project area will be designated as permanent open space, including:

• hiking and equestrian trails
• preserved citrus and avocado groves
• a neighborhood and pocket parks

Utilizing the latest in environmental planning, Meadowood will include advanced water and energy conservation measures, establishing Meadowood as a model for environmentally sensitive home construction in Southern California.

Conforms to the County's General Plan Update

Meadowood conforms to the County of San Diego's proposed General Plan Update. The new homes proposed for Meadowood will also help ease a critical housing shortage in San Diego County that has been declared by local government agencies, including the City and County of San Diego.
